Godzilla: The King of Monsters

What is Godzilla?

Godzilla is a giant fictional monster or a "daikaju," meaning strange beast in japanese. Godzilla was created by the japanese film director Ishiro Honda in the early 1950s, and was the pioneer of the giant monster movie genre. Dispite looking and resempling a dinosoure, Godzilla is descriped more as "a cross between a whale and a gorilla," however his name alurres to the words "god" and "gorilla." Godzilla's size has been debated and changed between movies but is usually in the hundreds of feet. As for abilityies he has the power to shoot a beam of Atomic breath out of his mouth, as shown below.

Ishiro Honda

Ishiro Honda was a already a sucessful film director even before his creation of Godzilla. After fighting in WWII, Honda devoted his time to making Kaiju "monster" movies, as while as war documertaries and films. Honda wasint well knoen untill he created Godzilla, and made movies in the early 60s about it fighting other monsters such as king kong. Today Ishiro Honda is regarded as one of the best monster movie directors ever.
